Decide what you truly want, do you want to reignire the fire in your marriage, do you want to prevent divorce, well whatever the reason for improving your marriage, you can improve it today! You have the power!

Talk with your partner tell them that you wan't to connect with each other on a daily basis, tell them how you want your relationship to be without blaming your partner, or getting defensive when your partner suggests something to improve your marriage.
Are you all wrapped up in your careers, or maybe you have children, this definatly shouldn't be the reason why your marriage is failing or needs improving. I tell all my clients this; set yourself one evening a week, or a suitable time for you and your partner to enjoy some time together. You can find a babysitter if you have children.

Make this a priority, one evening a week, thats all, this is your night! Maybe you havn't got money to go out one evening a week, if not - that's not a problem. Spend the evening in, alone, rent a movie - thats only a couple of dollars. If you have got money, go out see a nice movie, or go out to a restaurant or a nice bar and enjoy some quality time together!
Just remember; you have the power to change the marriage, it's up today - take action today! |
